I’m Emily and I am the founder and lead designer at Scripted Rose Florals. I have dreamt of owning a floral business ever since I was young. I worked in a flower shop in college and then started arranging for a few friends’ weddings. From there, Scripted Rose Florals was born.

I am an avid lover of all things beautiful, thus my love of flowers and design. My hope is that every person who encounters my work can enjoy the artistic beauty and intention behind every design.

Growing up, my mom taught me the importance of making people feel seen and known through hospitality. We hosted dinner parties, baby showers, church retreats, and even weddings! Through that I began to find myself in the love of cultivating spaces where people can enjoy beauty and feel loved. I think this has been one of the greatest inspirations in my business and floral designs.

When I am not designing you can find me biking on a wooded trail, playing pickle-ball with friends, eating homemade sourdough bread, thrifting old and unique pieces for my home, perfecting a new recipe from locally grown ingredients, or writing poetry.
